Automate UK is a major contributor to Automate BEST (Business, Education, Skills and Training) formerly PPMA BEST which offers a variety of apprenticeship grants and bursaries to support the engineering and manufacturing community. Through the charity’s work with local schools and colleges, we’re proud to help inspire young people, shaping the future of our industry

Bridging the skills gap through apprenticeship support.

Apprenticeships are a vital tool to help bridge the skills gap. Automate BEST offers a range of support including grants and bursaries to encourage more people into the industry.

Inspiring the future.

Today’s school children are tomorrow’s engineers. The Automate BEST Factory of the Future program is aimed at primary school students to inspire and encourage young people towards an engineering career via an online virtual ‘learning through fun’ experience.

Growing productive STEM partnerships.

Automate BEST also offers a range of industry led accredited STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) activities in partnership with other organisations. These include STEM days, projects, and work experience throughout the year.
